Our specific approach to curation is a vindication of younger generations, both as creators and audiences.
MEDIANOCHE0 is an non-profit dedicated to helping contemporary artists reach new audiences via online and physical platforms. Through our collection, pop-up shows, residencies, profiles, interviews, articles by guest curators and talks, we seek to offer a comprehensive view of artists’ practices and contextualise them within broader art history.
The collection has work by a growing roster of emerging and mid-career artists from around the world, as well as by the more established artists who influenced them. It follows a particular set of narratives derived from the reality and preoccupations of a Post-Internet society.
As an institution, we also aim to be the nexus between the local art ecosystem and the administration, and to drive permanent, incremental and sustainable change towards a healthy contemporary art scene that can support creatives living and working in the city. Read more ︎︎︎
